Changing a license plan

You can make changes to an existing license plan via the Pexip Partner Portal. You can add or remove licenses, convert the payment plan, manage renewals and cancel an order.

From the License Plan overview, click the wrench icon inline with the plan you want to change, and choose Edit Plan.

You are then taken through a series of questions for each step of the license wizard, asking if you want to add or remove licenses, change the payment cadence, billing references etc.

If you answer Yes to any step then you can change the number of licenses, set a new payment term and so on as appropriate.

Why won't the portal let me reduce the number of licenses on my license plan?

You must always have enough licenses to cover your customer's usage of the Pexip Service. The portal guides you in terms of how many licenses you need.

If you want to reduce the number licenses below the minimum as advised by the portal, you must first remove some of the license consumers. See Managing subscriptions (consumers) for more information.

How do I change a license plan from monthly to annual payments?

You can easily change an existing license plan from Monthly Prepay to One/Two/Three/Four or Five Year Prepay. Just follow the usual routine to change a license plan and on step 2 of the wizard choose to change your payment plan.
