Enabling streaming and recording

Any Pexip conference can be streamed as a live event to an unlimited number of viewers, and can automatically be recorded and stored for later consumption. This article explains how to enable a company's users to access Pexip's YouTube and RTMP streaming and recording facilities.

After creating a company you need to manually enable YouTube and RTMP integrations, if required by the company. Enabling an integration makes it available on a company-wide basis for all the company's users via a Live events & recordings option in the Pexip web app.

Enabling YouTube and/or RTMP integrations

1. In the Partner Portal, go to the Other tab.
2. Select in the Live integrations section.
3. Select an Integration Type of either YouTube streaming/recording or RTMP streaming/recording as required.
4. Select Submit.

You can enable both YouTube and RTMP streaming if required. These integrations are free from billing charges.

Disabling an integration

To disable a YouTube or RTMP integration:

1. In the Partner Portal, go to the Other tab.
2. Click on the YouTube or RTMP streaming/recording row in the Live integrations section.
3. Select Deactivate to disable the integration immediately, or Terminate to specify when to remove the integration.
