Enhanced Room Management (ERM): orderability and enablement

Enhanced Room Management (ERM) is a separately-installable Pexip product that provides management of your Cisco and Poly devices and room systems. From system monitoring to bulk provisioning of software upgrades, address books, and branding profiles, it provides everything you need to manage your systems from one single management interface.

Ordering an ERM paid license

When ordering Enhanced Room Management:

  • The customer must already have an ERC Premium plan.
  • You can order a different number of ERM licenses from the amount of ERC Premium licenses.
  • Note that an ERC Premium plan cannot be canceled if there is a corresponding ERM plan present.
  1. Select your customer and from the Purchasing tab select .

  2. Select the Enhanced Room Management add-on.

  3. Submit the order by following the standard orderability wizard.

Installing Enhanced Room Management

Your customers need to download and install (self-host) their own Enhanced Room Management application.

Ordering additional ERM licenses

To order more ERM licenses:

  1. In the Purchasing tab, click the Actions menu for the Enhanced Room Management License, and select the Edit Plan option.
  2. Set the new total number of licenses needed and follow the standard orderability wizard to submit the order.

Renewing an ERM license

When it is time to renew an ERM license:

  1. You (the Pexip Partner) will receive standard renewal notifications for ERM license plans.
  2. Follow the instructions in the renewal notification emails about how to renew the license.

    After confirming the renewal of a license plan for Enhanced Room Management, the License Management option is deactivated for this license plan, meaning there is no option to revert the renewal confirmation after the new software license key has been created.
