Viewing system location status

To see a list of all system locations currently configured, go to Status > Locations.

The following information about each location is available:

Field Description
Name The name of the location.
Max HD connections The maximum number of HD connections that can be supported by all of the Conferencing Nodes assigned to this location.
Maximum capacity - audio connections * The maximum number of audio-only connections that can be supported by all of the Conferencing Nodes assigned to this location.
Maximum capacity - SD connections * The maximum number of SD connections that can be supported by all of the Conferencing Nodes assigned to this location.
Maximum capacity - Full HD connections * The maximum number of Full HD connections that can be supported by all of the Conferencing Nodes assigned to this location.
Media load An estimate of how much of the location's total capacity is currently being used.
Usage graph *

Shows media usage statistics for this location for the last 7 days. It indicates:

  • Maximum possible media load: this is shown as a light blue line. The maximum load is shown in terms of audio-only connections, which are the least resource intensive. (Other call types use relatively more resource — for example an HD call requires roughly 12 times the resources of an audio-only call. See Types of call for more information.)

The maximum possible media load typically stays consistent over time, but can vary if Conferencing Nodes are added to, or removed from, the location.

  • Actual media load: this is shown as a dark blue line. This shows the resources that are actually being consumed over time, relative to the maximum possible media load.
* Only displayed when you have selected an individual location to view.

Note that when a location has no associated Conferencing Nodes (for example, after the location has just been created), the location reports a media load of 100%. This is to indicate that there is no current capacity available.
