Managing companies

In the Pexip Partner Portal, your customers are known as "Companies".

You should create a company for each of your customers, and also one in your own company's name for any subscriptions that you want to use internally.

The company overview lists all your company accounts and is divided into three tabs:

  • Paid: companies with at least one paid Pexip License Plan.
  • Trial (Open): companies with no paid Pexip License Plan, and you can still add trial subscriptions.
  • Trial (Closed): companies with no paid Pexip License Plan, and it is no longer possible to add trial subscriptions.

The following information is listed:

Company Your customers listed by name.
Country The country you specified for that customer.
State/Province/Region The State/Province/Region you specified for that customer.
Reference Any customer ordering/billing reference that you entered. For example an internal purchase order reference. See Assigning company references and cost centers for more information.
Next annual renewal / Evaluation end

If you have any annual license plans for a paid customer, the next upcoming renewal date is shown here.

For trial customers, their evaluation end date is shown.

Actions Your options to edit the company attributes (e.g. contacts) and a direct link to this company in the Pexip Analytics tool.

Creating a new company

To create a new company, select and complete the Add Company form.

Fields with a name in bold font are mandatory. It includes sections on the company's name for the phone book and correspondence, its billing name, address and cost centers, contact details and your account manager for this company.

After you have created a new company, you are ready to create a trial subscription for your customer — see Creating trial subscriptions and evaluation mode for more information.
